Social media automation workflows

I help teams connect social content planning, drafting, approval, and scheduling. A workflow can turn an approved article into platform-specific drafts, route those drafts for review, and pass approved content to a supported publishing tool. The scope depends on the platforms and integrations your team uses.

The work behind the service

Keep the editorial process connected

Social content often moves between a planning sheet, documents, messaging tools, and a scheduler. People spend time copying the same information and checking which version was approved. I help map that process and connect the repeatable steps while keeping the team's editorial responsibilities clear.

Scope and deliverables

What I can work on

We agree on the scope after reviewing your requirements. A project can focus on one of these areas or combine the relevant work.

Content repurposing workflows

Prepare social post drafts from approved articles or campaign information. Outputs can follow the format and tone your team defines for each supported platform.

Planning and approval steps

Connect the content plan to draft review and approval states. Define who checks a post and what information must be present before it can move forward.

Scheduling integrations

Pass approved posts to the agreed scheduler or platform API where the required capability is available. We test formatting, media handling, and failure responses for the selected destinations.

Reporting and notifications

Collect the performance fields available through your integrations and prepare a useful report. Notifications can flag failed publishing steps or content waiting for review.

Working together

How the project works

  1. Map your platforms and process

We inspect the tools, accounts, content formats, and approval steps already in use.

  2. Build a limited workflow

I connect one representative content flow and test it with your team.

  3. Expand the supported steps

We add the agreed destinations and document the workflow's limits and operating requirements.

Practical example

An example workflow for an SEO and social team

An approved blog article could become several social drafts, enter an editor's review queue, and then move to the team's scheduler. This is a possible workflow to scope together; platform support and account permissions determine which steps can be connected.

Before we start

Questions about this service

Which social platforms can you automate?

We check the APIs and scheduler integrations available for your accounts before agreeing on scope. Not every platform supports the same content types or publishing operations.

Can our team approve posts before scheduling?

Yes. We can make approval an explicit step and define what happens when a draft is edited, rejected, or returned for review.

Can the workflow reply to comments or messages?

We would need to assess that separately, including platform support, the type of response, and the review process. It is not assumed as part of a publishing workflow.
