JavaScript SEO and rendering troubleshooting

I investigate how JavaScript websites deliver their content and links to search engines. This includes React and Next.js applications, server-rendered HTML, client-side behaviour, and hydration issues. I help developers understand the SEO requirements and check the resulting implementation.

The work behind the service

Check what is delivered at each stage of the page

The page a user sees after interacting with an application can differ from the initial response. I compare the relevant stages and investigate where content, links, metadata, or HTTP behaviour become inconsistent. The findings should explain the specific problem and give your developers a way to reproduce and validate it.

Scope and deliverables

What I can work on

We agree on the scope after reviewing your requirements. A project can focus on one of these areas or combine the relevant work.

Initial and rendered HTML review

Compare server responses and browser-rendered output for important templates. Investigate whether the content and links your business relies on are present in the expected form.

Rendering and hydration investigation

Review how server and client behaviour interact. We can investigate missing content, hydration differences, delayed data, and template-specific behaviour in the application.

Navigation and response handling

Check HTML links, route changes, redirects, and error-page behaviour. Document cases where the browser experience and server response do not match the agreed requirements.

Engineering requirements and QA

Provide examples, expected output, and validation steps. I can work with frontend and backend developers to review the changes in staging and after release.

Working together

How the project works

  1. Select affected templates

We identify the important routes and gather examples of the reported problem.

  2. Compare the page stages

I trace the server response and rendered output to locate the implementation issue.

  3. Validate the fix

We test the agreed behaviour with the developers responsible for the application.

Questions about this service

Does every JavaScript website need a full rebuild?

We should investigate the actual implementation before proposing a change. The scope may be a specific template, navigation component, response handler, or data-loading path.

Can you review the site before a framework migration?

Yes. We can document the current SEO behaviour and help define requirements for the new implementation, with checks planned before launch.

Can your recommendations become developer tickets?

Yes. We can agree on a ticket format that includes examples, expected behaviour, dependencies, and validation steps suited to your team's process.
